Monday, Oct. 13  Serial entrepreneur and coach Allison Maslan will present 8 Secrets of Millionaire Entrepreneurs over dinner at Shula's in Miami Lakes.
 
Allison Maslan is the CEO of Allison Maslan International, a Global Business Mentoring Company.

She is the bestselling author of Blast off!  The Surefire Success Plan to Launch Your dreams into Reality.  She has been an expert guest on ABC, CBS, and Fox stations across the US and was recently featured in Success Magazine.

Monday, Nov. 10  Business coach and speaker Carlos Garrido will present "How to Break the Rules and Close More Sales" over dinner at Seasons 52 in Coral Gables. Carlos Garrido spent over 15 years in investment banking and business development with global companies like AstraZeneca and PricewaterhouseCoopers before starting Absolute Sales Development, Inc. He blends his experiences of international business development with nationally proven sales training and evaluation tools from The Sandler Sales Institute and the Devine Group.

How They Plan to Support Women in Business

September 22, 2014

Come to Candidates' Night on September 22 to meet some of the Miami-Dade County candidates running for positions in the Florida Legislature or the U.S. House of Representatives.

At a reception and panel discussion, they will discuss issues such as:
• Certification of women-owned businesses
• Capital available to women-owned businesses
• Eligibility for federal and state contracts
• Promotion of international trade
• Promotion of SMEs in Miami

 

Tom Hudson of WLRN Radio will moderate the panel session.


The Miami chapters of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) have joined with the Women's Chamber of Commerce of Miami-Dade and The Women's Fund to sponsor this non partisan program.
